For one year from 1 January 2024, the Museum will be closed for necessary work enabling it to fulfill its conservation role while also welcoming the public. Before it closes, it is inviting people of all ages to share a festive evening in fancy dress on Saturday December 16, from 5.30 p.m..
5.30 p.m. – 8 p.m. | Workshops and activities
During the first part of the evening, you can chat to the museum staff about the museum’s development, its collections and their conservation, the research carried out and its plans for exhibition and mediation. On the program: creative workshops, scientific activities, kids make-up, a look behind the scenes and décor, participatory fresco and other original discoveries.
8 p.m. – 11 p.m. | Music, catwalk and dance floor
The festivities will continue with animals on the catwalk, concerts and the opening of the dance floor. Come dressed as your animal totem (tiger, wolf, cockroach, etc.) and win the prize for the best costume!
