Children’s rights action plan: the results are available | City of Geneva

Since 2014, the City of Geneva has been strongly committed to an approach to promoting children’s rights, the objective of which is to deploy services in line with the International Convention on the Rights of the Childratified by Switzerland in 1997.

    Multi-year action plan

A multi-year action plan was therefore implemented between 2014 and 2020, around three axes main:

    • protection,
    • legality,
    • the participation of children.

In this context, 60 shares were developed which involved, in a transversal manner, the entire municipal administration. The establishment of project governance and the commitment of services contributed to implementing a “child reflex” within the City.
