    Discovering your neighborhood

    You live in Junction district? Are you curious to discover your neighborhood from a new perspective? The local social team invites you once again to meet among residents in two emblematic cafes of the Junction.

    During these friendly moments, a neighborhood partner (an institution, an association or even a merchant) is invited to present their activity. You will have the opportunity to discover the game library of the Junction, the Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art (MAMCO), different neighborhood associations or even rethink the notion of “home” with specialists in Geneva Museum of Ethnography.

    As part of the local social policy implemented by the Department of Social Cohesion and Solidaritythese neighborhood cafes are a valuable opportunity to discover new activitiespeople, and make new connections in his neighborhood.

    Overview of the themes offered

    A diversity of themes is offered to you on Tuesdays or Wednesdays, in connection with the Jonction district. Everyone will be able to choose from these subjects according to their interest or curiosity.

    • Wednesday February 13 at 3 p.m.: what is a toy library, at Café Gallay – 42, boulevard de Saint-Georges, in collaboration with the Ludothèque de la Jonction;
    • Tuesday March 12, at 3 p.m.: presentation of the Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art (MAMCO) at the Café de la Radio, 73, boulevard Carl-Vogt, in collaboration with the MAMCO;
    • Wednesday April 24at 3 p.m.: laughing in the hospital is not trivial, at the Café de la Radio, 73, boulevard Carl-Vogt, in collaboration with the Hôpiclowns association;
