VideoDatabase: the entire video collection of the City of Geneva digitized | City of Geneva

There VideoDatabase allows you to navigate among the eras and different worlds of artists. The entire video collection of FMACwhich is among the largest in Europe, is thus found in a single consultation platform.

There collection grows every year by new acquisitions and to date includes the André Iten Fund, entrusted to the FMAC in 2009 upon the closure of the Center for Contemporary Image Saint-Gervais (CIC), the Chris Marker/Christophe Chazalon Documentary Fund, the Olesen-Minkoff Fund , currently under inventory, bequeathed in 2020 by the artist Muriel Olesen.

The tool is now accessible via different devices at the FMAC: consultation stations, sofas in the “Le Garage” projection room and giant screen in the “Grand Espace”.
