    A New Year’s Eve at the water’s edge to pass the milestone in music | City of Geneva

    In 2023, we’re changing sides! The New Year festivities take place on the Quai Gustave-Ador.

    The Christmas Market having been moved to the Quai du Mont-Blanc in order to preserve the trees and vegetation of the English Garden, the New Year festivities will take place on the Quai Gustave-Ador.

    Of 8 p.m. to 3 a.m. in the morning, the music will be at the center of the party, on two stages which will offer performances by eclectic artists.

    A varied musical program

    Concocted by Nelson Schaer, artistic director of the Ella Fitzgerald stage, the program is both cutting-edge and general public. She will give pride of place to Geneva and French-speaking scene by offering a panel of Eclectic DJsas well as three major orchestras flamboyant.

    Water Jet Scene

    DJs will be in the spotlight on the “Jet d’eau” stage. Lady Black Sally, Flowerz, Zebra, Mulah, NVST and Santo will perform there.

    Beach Scene

    The large “Plage” stage, in front of Baby-Plage, will be mainly dedicated to live music. Artmaillé will heat up the atmosphere before the 1994 Sarcophagus concert event, bringing together former stars of local rap and the Swiss scene. Followed by the astonishing techno fanfare OUMPH, the sparkling cumbia group Palenque and the renowned Afroaghreb DJ Pekodjinn.
