    Geneva, host city of the International Day of Living Together in Peace 2024 | City of Geneva

    The official celebration of the International Day of Living Together in Peace (JIVEP) will take place on May 16 at Palace of Nationsas part of a international meetig dedicated to education to the culture of peace. She will be introduced by Ms. Tatiana ValovayaDirector-General of the United Nations Office at Geneva, and Ms. Christina KitsosVice-President of the Administrative Council.

    On May 17, the policy makers and the actresses and actors of education will be welcomed at the Eynard Palacein order to reflect together on the possibilities of implementing the pedagogy of the culture of peace.

    Dialogue between Boris Cyrulnik and Sheikh Khaled Bentounes

    A forum for a culture of peace will take place on May 17 and 18 to the Plainpalais community hall. THE General public will have the opportunity to participate in different workshopsto see exhibitions and attend a dialogue between the neuropsychiatrist Boris Cyrulnik and the Sheikh Khaled Bentouneshonorary president ofAISA International NGO and initiator of JIVEP.

    It is also during this 7th edition of JIVEP that the Geneva Declaration for Education for the Culture of Peace will be proclaimed, at the University of Geneva. The JIVEP 2024 initiative is supported by many partners. In addition to the City of Geneva, let us mentionUN University for Peacethere Unesco Chair for a Culture of Economic Peace, the Foundation for socio-cultural animation (FASe), theNGO Seeds of PeaceTHE Ethnomusicology workshops (ADEM), the Boat Geneva and the Municipality of Bernex.
