The rest of the day, a copious artistic and musical program, and numerous activities for families will be offered at Parc La Grange. In line with her Town Hall theme, “What binds us”, the Mayor invited two personalities, the High Commissioner for Human Rights, Mr Volker Türk and the President of the State Council of Appenzell Outer Rhodes, Mr. Yves Noël Balmer. The day starts with a free brunch offered to nearly 500 guests, composed exclusively of local products. This new feature marks the wish to invite city dwellers to discover the riches of the local land and to salute the work of our farmers.
In case of bad weather, the brunch will be held at the Plainpalais community hall.
The artistic programming was entrusted to theShap Shap association et al’Ola Production agency who succeeded in meeting the challenge brilliantly.
Varied activities for children and young people
The start of the festivities is scheduled for 3 p.m. at Parc La Grange with workshops for children on the theme of Switzerland, organized by theAmusen associationactivities offered by the Truck thing of the House of Creativity, or even giant games with the toy bus of the Schools and Institutions for Children Service.
Young people will be seduced by K-Pop performances and through training workshops offered by Local DJs. In terms of street art, note the presence of a Brazilian artist Heloisa Ariadne accompanied by Jessifly, in a privileged area of the park, with deck chairs set up by young people employed by the Youth Service.
L’United Nations Research Institute for Social Development will hold an information booth on social justice and invite the public to create a Playlist on this theme.

Sugar and the Brazilian Collective Batekooan exceptional concert is planned on the Ella Fitzgerald stage, with the duo of Colombian artists Orito Cantora and Jenn del Tambothe Geneva group Roshani and the Red from Tamboreras de Suiza.
