Cooling islands
Seven new devices misting are installed in busy places in the City until the end of summer.
Placed near water points or fountains, these square metal structures, covered by a canvas which creates shade, include a push button. When activated, a fine refreshing mist is released.
These structures thus make it possible to create islands of freshness in the middle of town. They will be reused in the coming years. These devices complement the already existing misters, present in the micro-oases.
Of the shading, in the form of large canvases or parasols, were also installed at eight locations. These facilities are often accompanied by seats, creating welcoming shaded areas, ideal for taking a break.
