The half-soupir was presented for the first time in 2022, on the occasion of the exhibition Open End 2.

Organized by the DART association, it unveiled the works of fifteen renowned artists who questioned the double theme of the exhaustion of the resources and drifts of new technologies.

John M. Armleder donated half-soupir to the city. The work enriches the Municipal Contemporary Art Fund Alongside the tomb of the secrets of Sophie Calle and the epitaph “I told you that I was not going very well” by Gianni Motti, two creations presented during the first open end exhibition.
