    Afterwork “Bestial!” At the Museum of Art and History | City of Geneva

    The Museum of Art and History and the Department of Social Cohesion and Solidarity associate to offer an evening entitled “Bestial” which highlights the animal world as part of thetown hall year “What binds us” and History and city festival.

    One night guides

    This afterwork will be an opportunity to encourage a familiar audience Cultural institutions to come to the museum.

    A group of volunteeridentified within Subsidized associations by the Department of Social Cohesion and Solidarity (DCSS), specially trained to become One night guideswill accompany the public.

    Four performances are on the program:

    • A collaborative project Made with students from primary school. Children will revisit conventional paintings like graffiti, surrounded by artist Serval;
    • A happening Combining music and dance will celebrate the history of tango;
    • An unprecedented presentation of Egyptian cat mummiess, in French and Ukrainian, followed by a duo of lyrical singing;
    • A sound immersion Captivating imagined with learners in French, will explore the sounds of the animal world;
    • A DJ set In the open air, transforming the museum’s courtyard into a warm space conducive to exchanges.

    There Mayor of the city of Geneva,, Christina Kitsoswill be present during this event.

    As part of the year of town hall “What binds us”this evening is an opportunity to Create bridges Through the performances mixing Artists and amateursworks of yesterday and today, and to bring together both the MAH regulars, but also an audience that never pushes the museum door.
