The city of Geneva received the team from basketball of the Geneva Lions To celebrate their victory in the Swiss Cup.
It’s the fourth time that the Lions win the trophy (2014, 2017, 2021 and 2025). They were also sacred Swiss champions twice in 2013 and 2015.
“The city of Geneva is very proud to support this club which is one of the pillars of the Geneva collective elite sport”, underlines the administrative advisor Marie Barbey-Chappuis in charge of the Department of Sports and Security. “This title makes Geneva shine, I warmly congratulate all the players and the supervision for this trophy,” concludes the magistrate.
