There “street harassment” reporting function from the free app “Geneva in your pocket” allows, since June 1, 2022, victims, witnesses or relatives to report cases to the municipal police, helping to make public spaces safer.

    City of Carouge

“This extension to suburban municipalities, such as Carouge, makes it possible to increase the scope of awareness of a phenomenon which is spreading insidiously in the daily life of our streets”, explains Raffaele Fraomene, the administrative advisor of the City of Carouge in charge of the municipal police who will take office on November 30. “Thanks to this application Carouge will also offer a tool accessible from our mobiles for greater security and above all to remove victims from isolation and preserve their dignity.”
