Following the publication of the podcast documentary seriesLet the Tsar Fall: A History of Revolutionaries in Switzerland” directed by Media ruckusthere Geneva Library dedicates a participatory listening session and a round table to a little-known story: the one who saw a diaspora of students from the Russian Empire massively integrating the ranks of Swiss universitiesfrom Zurich (1868), then from Geneva (1872) before, for some of them, becoming politicized.

    Documentary stories

How did Switzerland become the cradle of the October Revolution of 1917? How did generations of idealists of all stripes precipitate the fall of Tsarism in February 1917 from here? What role did women play in this momentous event?

Clandestinity, fury and raw rivalries: for the first time, a podcast series recounts this epic in its entirety.
