    The future tennis hall at the Bois-des-Frères Sports Center will see the light of day in early 2025 | City of Geneva

    At the end of 2021, the Municipal Council gave its verdict and validated opening a loan for a total net amount of CHF 12,355,100.- intended for the construction of a permanent covered hall For three tennis courts and to the renovation of three outdoor fields at the Bois-des-Frères Sports Center.

    “This project is part of the master plan for sports equipment of 300 million investments in the field of sport by 2030”, as noted by Administrative Advisor Marie Barbey-Chpuis, in charge of the department of security and sports (DSSP), during the Municipal Council meeting during which the project was accepted.

    Land available all year round

    These three covered grounds (including retractable stands) will be available all year round and will therefore allow playing tennis whatever the weatherwhich will delight Genevan amateurs, as well as the next generation of ARGT executives, their senior movement and the numerous tournaments throughout the year. The surface of these three indoor courts will be hard. The three outdoor courts will be made of artificial clay.
