Since 2024, the City of Geneva supports organizations or structures (theatre, sports club, nursery, NGO, etc.) which wish to to modify in the medium or long term their functioning in order to make it more durable.
Encourage the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions
This approach is part of the Climate strategy of the City of Geneva, and more particularly axis 7 “mobilization of the population”which aims to encourage all the actors and actresses of the territory to reduce their greenhouse gas emissions.

Budget and subsidies
The new “organizations and climate emergency” subsidy budget is allocated CHF 200,000 per year.
Depending on the scale of the proposed projects, multi-year grants, limited to 3 consecutive years, may be allocated.
