8 concerts at low prices
The Sunday Concert season at Victoria Hall opens with two concerts for the price of one. Fabrizio Chiovetta offers two cycles of Romantic “Lieder” by Franz Schubert, voice and piano, on Sunday 17 September. “Die schöne Müllerin” at 11 a.m. and “Winterreise” at 5 p.m.
In October, thetogether Cantatio under the direction of John Duxburybrings together high-level young professionals to serve choral music by highlighting lesser-known pieces from the repertoire of Purcell and Handel.
