Guided visits of the Cimetière des Rois for All Saints | City of Geneva

Located at the heart of the City, Plainpalais cemetery (Cimetière des Rois) is a testimony to the history of Geneva. From Calvin through Borges and James Fazy to Grisélidis Réal, numerous celebrities – from Geneva and abroad – who have contributed to the City’s reputation lie at rest here under the shade of hundred-year-old trees.

    Discovering the “Pantheon of Geneva”

Created in the 15th century, Plainpalais cemetery is the oldest in Geneva. Also referred to as the “Pantheon of Geneva”, it bears witness to the history of the canton.
