Charlotte Hodes and Nicolas Muller at the Musée Ariana | City of Geneva

Alongside its remit of conserving historic heritage, the Musée Ariana also develops ties with the modern-day artistic sceneas can be seen in these two new exhibitions.

    Nicolas Muller: By force

Preserving collections is one of the main missions of the Musée Ariana. Intrigued by the notions of conservation, Nicolas Muller (France/Switzerland, 1983) has collected discrete and fragile traces left by works from collections kept in the storerooms.

His projects reveal hollow images, minute and ephemeral traces showing the impact of time on materials.

By force from 3 November to 22 September 2024 – Lower level
