    Give your toys a second life

    Every year, at the beginning of December, the Bastions park welcomes a Christmas marketl specially dedicated to childrenorganized by them and for them.

    Since 2007, this event has brought together primary school students under the large heated Escalade tentoffering them a unique opportunity to give a second life to their books, toys And other games which they no longer have use for.

    Before the market, at home, the children sort their games and toys in good condition and present themselves on D-day to 1:15 p.m. in front of the tent. The staff of the Schools service welcomes and places the small exhibitors (no need for prior registration).

    Of 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.the market opens to the public and everyone can come and do their shopping by purchasing at low prices books, board games, dolls, construction games and a thousand other treasures.

    In this pre-festive period, the Christmas Market by and for children represents a great opportunity to raise awareness among younger generations to the value of objects and to think about consumption more responsible. At the end of the market, the unsold which do not leave with their owner, are given to the Caritas associationwho works daily for a more united societyand who is present that day to explain to the public her role and her actions.

    A joyful moment at Parc des Bastions

    The Christmas Market by and for children takes place in a festive atmosphere and free entertainment are scheduled throughout the afternoon.

    • Musical intervention by the Bulle d’Art association
    • Makeup Christmas for children
    • Walk to ponies outside the tent by the Blackyland Ranch
    • Snack offered to the children present.

    Program

    • 1:15 p.m. Welcome of student exhibitors
    • 2 p.m. Open to the public
    • 5 p.m. Closing and storage.

    Stand snacks hold by the St Jean Basket association.
