There competition prize ceremony “At table!” was held Monday, November 20 at the Comédie de Genève. The general allocation has once again been increased to CHF 30,000, compared to CHF 27,500 in 2022 and CHF 21,500 in 2021.
She comes to reward the restaurants which invested the most during a month to offer quality, homemade, healthy and sustainable dishes. 20% of each prize will be paid in the form of local goodies to allow restaurateurs to strengthen their support for local agriculture.

A dahl soup of green lentils from Sauverny, a cromesquis of GRTA pork shoulder confit for 12 hours, a tajine of market vegetables, chickpeas, quince and saffron, a pear poached with Garanoir and its spelled crumble crowned with cotton candy , here are some examples of creativity and originality put to the service of sustainable food from September 25 to October 22 by the chefs of Geneva’s kitchens.
The “A Table!” competition shows that relatively simple measures, such as reducing food waste and eating more plant-based, local, seasonal foods, can improve the health of people and the planet, while supporting the local economy. Alfonso Gomez, Mayor of the City of Geneva in charge of sustainable development, “very warmly thanks the participants who enhance the products of our region and highlight its richness”.
“This Competition does not only highlight sustainable cooking, it values the diversity of catering players who are taking the step. This is a good example that the movement is no longer reserved for convinced establishments. It grows year after year and it is a chance for lovers of good food to be able to count on a varied and committed offer”, indicates Antonio Hodgers, State Councilor in charge of the Territorial Department.
